This hotel is located in a small village in one of Iceland’s most important agricultural areas where most of the country’s vegetables are organically grown. The South West’s best known sight such as Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss are all within easy striking distance. The rooms are medium sized and in exceptional condition. They all benefit from polished parquet floors and simple, stylish furniture. The modern bathrooms are also in exceptional condition. The restaurant at this hotel is particularly well known locally, serving delicious Icelandic specialties made with fresh, locally produced ingredients.
